Alina Boghen obtained her Masters in Human Communication Disorders from Dalhousie University in 2003. She offers a wide range of general practice including assessment and treatment of speech, language and literacy impairments in preschool and school-age children. Over the years, Alina has been involved in different community outreach programs in Montreal.
One of Alina’s strengths is her natural ability to connect with children. She thrives on finding ways to motivate all children and thinks creatively to make the sessions interesting and relevant to each child.
Alina strongly believes that parents play an integral part in their child’s therapeutic process and growth. Being a mother of two school-age children, she recognizes how much joy and hope children bring but also knows they come with a handful of challenges. Alina admires their unwavering dedication in helping their child reach his or her full potential.
Alina describes herself as a devoted, open-minded and flexible person. These qualities are reflected in her therapy sessions and in her lifestyle. Activities that Alina enjoy doing include cooking, traveling, music, running, yoga and being in the outdoors with her children.
