Alisha Colantuono
Occupational Therapist
Alisha completed her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at McGill University, along with a minor in Italian. From a young age, she was drawn to working with children, spending her summers in camps and tutoring, as well as completing her first occupational therapy placement at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital in the DCD department. She also volunteered for six years at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and offered help at the Mackay Centre’s DCD Camp.
After several years working in adult mental health, and inspired by the birth of her niece, Alisha felt called back to pediatrics. She is passionate about helping children develop the foundational physical, emotional, and self-regulation skills needed to become confident, functional, and well-regulated individuals.
Through both her professional training and personal lived experience, Alisha has developed a strong interest in emotional regulation, mental health, and self-development. She integrates these perspectives into her work with children and families, supporting growth in a holistic and compassionate way.
Outside of work, Alisha enjoys spending time with loved ones, staying active through walking, yoga, and strength training, exploring topics related to mental health and spirituality, as well as traveling. She is thrilled to be part of the Kiddo Active team and to support children in the community in reaching their fullest potential.
