Alyssa Di Cesare
Speech Language Pathologist
Alyssa holds a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from Concordia University and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Ottawa. Her passion for speech, language, and communication was initially sparked by her previous work as a specialized educator, where she supported individuals with diverse needs. This experience inspired her to pursue a career as an SLP, where she could continue to make a meaningful impact.
Alyssa has enjoyed working with children, teenagers, and adults, in both educational and clinical settings. She believes that fun and functionality are essential components of speech and language development and incorporates this framework into all her sessions. Her areas of professional interest include speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and social communication. She particularly enjoys working with clients in naturalistic and group environments.
She is committed to providing therapy that is dynamic, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and is passionate about using a neurodiversity-affirming approach.
Outside of work, Alyssa loves to read, beat friends in Uno, spend time with family, and travel!
