Speech Language Pathologists:
Kiddo Active Therapy is currently looking for a bilingual speech therapist to join the team! We are a continuously growing team consisting of occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physiotherapists, a nutritionist, and an art therapist.
Description of the position: The position consists of screening and evaluating children who present with or are at risk of presenting with delays or difficulties in speech, language, fluency and voice, creating a treatment plan, and providing speech and language intervention with the objectives of prevention, re-adaptation and re-education. There are multiple opportunities to plan and run groups and presentations, such as a Ready for School club, Social Skills club, Adventures in Nature club, and daycare presentations to parents and educators. Mentorship is available for all new hires. Please note that we are currently offering families both in clinic and Teletherapy sessions.
We have a diverse clientele of children between the ages of 2-14 years old that present with a variety of difficulties, such as: - Kids on the Autism spectrum - Language delay - Developmental language disorder - Phonological disorder - Articulation disorders - Literacy skills - Voice disorders - Fluency disorders
Qualifications - Have a masters in Speech Language pathology and be a member of the Ordre des Orthophonistes et Audiologistes du Québec - Communicate in both French and English - Having a vehicle for daycare and school visits is a plus but not required. Kiddo Active Therapy has a strong presence in schools and daycares on the island of Montreal and in surrounding areas, in order to help school and daycare educators stimulate children’s language development. - The positions available are for an employee or an independent contractor - Flexible schedule and the weekly hours will vary and evolve with the progression of new clientele.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST:
DEPARTMENT: Occupational Therapy
POSITION SUMMARY: Kiddo Active Therapy is a private multidisciplinary pediatric therapy practice that also provides daycare and school-based therapy. Kiddo Active is looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide professional goal -oriented clinic-based therapy services to pediatric clients. We administer occupational therapy to clients on an intermittent basis in our outpatient facilities and in daycare or school settings. We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with a variety of diagnoses including treatment to address sensory processing, gross motor, fine motor, handwriting, executive functioning and social skills. We take pride in our work and our inter-disciplinary collaboration, support our employees’ professional development and are proud to provide mentoring.
Requirements :
University degree in occupational therapy. Member in good standing of the Ordre professionnel des ergothérapeutes du Québec. Experience in pediatrics an asset. New grads who have pediatric fieldwork will be considered
Bilingual: French and English both written and spoken.
