Erin graduated from health sciences and special care counselling from Vanier College in 2000 and went on to complete her bachelor's of science in occupational therapy at the University of Ottawa in 2004. Erin has a bachelor's cetificate in ASD intervention and recently completed her master's of science degree in organizational management at Université Laval in 2015. Throughout the next decade, Erin has served in both the private sector and the public sector (CRDITED) working with children various diagnoses, including but not limited to, global developmental delay, intellectual impairments, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), Down syndrome, and sensory processing disorder. Erin has worked with children and their families at home, in daycares, in schools, in a clinic setting, and other significant community settings.
2017 marks the year that Erin will be joining the Kiddo Active team; she is thrilled to be joining a clinic that prioritizes best practices and fun! Erin has always loved working with children whether as a lifeguard, teaching swimming and Irish Dancing, as camp counsellor, and now as a mom. She loves spending time in the great outdoors and is now keen on sharing this passion with her husband and two boys.
Erin is passionate about partnering with children and their families to assist them in using their strengths to develop new skills and overcome daily challenges so that children are proud of themselves every day!
