Ginny completed her undergraduate and master’s degree in occupational therapy at McGill University in 2020. Ginny first became interested in working with children through volunteering with children when she was in high school. Throughout the years, she continued to gain experience in the field by being a summer camp counsellor, volunteering at the Children’s hospital, working as an integration aid, and also working as an early intervention behavior interventionist. During her studies, she had the opportunity to take an advanced pediatrics course. She also completed two placements in the pediatric setting; a role-emerging project at the Little Red Playhouse summer camp, and an internship at the child psychiatry day program of the Jewish General Hospital. After graduating, Ginny continued to expand on her pediatric experience by working as an occupational therapist in the school setting.
During her spare time, Ginny likes to spend time with friends, explore new restaurants, rock climb and bake.
She is excited to be part of the team at Kiddo Active and looks forward to meeting the families and supporting children to play, learn and grow!
