Jory has had a strong passion to work with children for as long as she can remember. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in education in 2009. After McGill, Jory worked at a pediatric developmental center for two years before moving to Toronto in 2011 to complete her master’s degree in occupational therapy at the University of Toronto. Throughout this program, Jory spent most of her clinical rotations working with the pediatric population in various areas such as mental health, rehabilitation, schools & in private clinics around Toronto. After completing her master’s degree, she spent two years working as a community-based pediatric occupational therapist. Through Jory’s professional experience, she has developed a diverse set of skills that have helped her clients reach their goals, maximize their potential and assist them in leading fulfilling lives in their homes and in the community.
Jory is thrilled to be part of the energetic and multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists at Kiddo Active Therapy! Jory also works as a school-based occupational therapist in schools throughout Montreal. In any capacity that she practices in, she shares her passion to enhance children’s function, independence and quality of life.
During her free time, Jory enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, practicing yoga, playing board games and jogging.
