Kathryn completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of McGill. She has found her passion to work with kids ever since her first job as a camp counsellor. This interest further grew as she learnt about how Occupational Therapy could aid children with disabilities. Her first stage was at Summit School, which is a school specialized for children with mild to moderate disabilities. She was able to learn and consolidate the occupational therapy philosophy and techniques which she learnt at McGill University. Kathryn’s goal throughout her treatments is to assist the child and the family in order to unlock his/her full capabilities in his/her everyday activities.
Throughout her studies, Kathryn worked as a babysitter for multiple families with children with disabilities. Not only did she apply techniques that was learn throughout her schooling, but it also allowed her to see the potential and the hidden abilities that each child has to offer. On her free time, Kathryn enjoys playing piano & guitar, playing soccer, doing martial arts, going snowboarding, and socializing with friends.
