After completing her bachelor’s in psychology, Martina decided that she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare and chose Occupational Therapy because of its holistic approach to care. She received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at McGill in 2018, and became a member of Ordre des Ergotherapeutes du Quebec (OEQ).
Even prior to her studies, Martina was sure she wanted to work in a pediatric setting. Throughout her school years she worked as a summer camp counselor, an integration aide in public schools, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist, and ran a pre-school prep group with autistic children. Martina developed her pediatric Occupational Therapy knowledge during clinical placements in hospital, community and school settings. She is passionate about helping children integrate in their chosen environments and promoting participation in meaningful activities.
Martina is excited to start her career alongside the knowledgeable and creative team at Kiddo Active!
