Sarah graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2004 with a bachelor’s of nursing and later went to McMaster University to complete her master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2008. Sarah has been practicing occupational therapy in an adult setting for 7 years and is now excited to pursue one of her dreams of working with children. Sarah has always loved working with children and grew up in a home that also functioned as a home daycare for 26 years. After having two children of her own Sarah has developed an added passion to help children develop to their maximum potential, in an environment that promotes optimal growth. Sarah is passionate about continuing to develop her knowledge of pediatrics and she is excited to join the Kiddo Active team.
Sarah spent many years teaching swimming, downhill skiing and working at summer camps with children as a lifeguard, camp counselor and camp nurse, in Canada and the United States. She has a love for traveling, the outdoors, camping and adventure and now loves sharing these passions with her children. In her spare time Sarah continues to enjoy swimming, yoga and jogging.
