Sophie Desautels-Lair
Occupational Therapist

Sophie completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in occupational therapy at Université de Montréal in 2024. During her Master's, she carried out a research project on occupational therapy interventions with children living with chronic pain, in addition to taking two advanced pediatrics courses. She also had the opportunity to enrich her clinical skills during an internship at CHU Sainte-Justine, where she worked with premature infants.
With a lifelong desire to work with children, Sophie has been an early childhood educator, a day camp animator for children with special needs and a homework tutor. These experiences have enabled her to develop a facility for interacting with children and imagining games adapted to each child's needs. She loves to create genuine bonds with them and accompany them in carrying out activities that are close to their hearts.
In her spare time, Sophie enjoys cycling, cooking, reading and has recently taken up swimming. She is delighted to be part of the Kiddo Active team, helping children and their families to reach their full potential while having fun!
