Do I need a doctor's referral? +

No referral required. You can contact us directly to join the waitlist. We always recommend discussing concerns with your pediatrician as well.

Is speech therapy covered by RAMQ? +

Private speech therapy is not typically covered by RAMQ. Many families have private insurance plans or health spending accounts that offer partial reimbursement. We provide detailed receipts.

Is speech therapy covered by insurance? +

Many private insurance plans cover speech-language therapy. We provide detailed receipts for reimbursement. We do not offer direct billing.

How soon can we start? +

Waitlist times vary. Once you join the waitlist and complete the intake questionnaire, an SLP will review it and we'll contact you to schedule a free 15-minute intake call. After-school and weekend spots are most in-demand.

Can therapy happen at school or daycare? +

Yes. We collaborate with schools and daycares through contracts and offer consultation services in educational settings.

Do you offer telehealth/virtual therapy? +

Yes, for select speech therapy sessions when appropriate.

How many sessions will my child need? +

It depends on your child's goals and needs. After the assessment, your SLP will outline a recommended treatment plan and typical timeline.

What should I bring to the first appointment? +

Bring your child, any medical or school reports, and a list of questions or concerns. Comfortable clothing is best.

Do you treat toddlers/preschoolers/teens? +

Yes! We serve children from toddlers (18 months+) through age 21.

Can parents attend sessions? +

Absolutely. We encourage parent involvement because children progress faster when caregivers are part of the journey.

Our Pointe-Claire clinic is conveniently located at Plaza Pointe-Claire (back side off Maywood) with free, easy parking — serving families across the entire West Island including Beaconsfield, Kirkland, Dorval, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (DDO), Pierrefonds, Roxboro, Lachine, Montreal West, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Baie-D'Urfé, and Île-Bizard. Just minutes via Highway 20 or Boulevard Saint-Jean, our warm, welcoming environment with full sensory-motor gyms makes speech therapy accessible and enjoyable.

We also welcome families from off-island communities including Vaudreuil-Dorion, L'Île-Perrot, and Hudson, as well as families from across Montreal. Our Outremont location (845 Querbes) offers select services through our partner Blocks Therapy — note that Outremont waitlists may be longer.
