- Is speech-language therapy covered by RAMQ? Private speech-language therapy is not typically covered by RAMQ. Some families may have extended insurance or health spending accounts that reimburse services.
- Do I need a doctor’s referral? A referral is not required to begin. You can contact us directly to start the intake questionnaire and schedule an assessment. Discussion with pediatrician still recommended
- Is speech-language therapy covered by insurance? Many private insurance plans offer partial coverage. We provide receipts with the necessary details for reimbursement.
- Can therapy happen at school/daycare or online? Yes. We collaborate with schools and daycares through contracts, and offer tele-practice when appropriate to support continuity.
- How soon will we see progress? Small gains often appear in the first few weeks. Larger goals require time, consistent practice, and collaboration between home and therapy.
