Tanya completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at McGill University. During her studies, Tanya had the opportunity to develop her skills in pediatric occupational therapy by completing a clinical rotation at a school for children who have special needs in Montreal. After completing her degree, she went on to begin training with the team at Kiddo Active to further develop her skills and knowledge applying different approaches and strategies to optimize children’s goals and participation in daily life activities. She is excited to be joining a wonderful team of dedicated and knowledgeable professionals!
Tanya has always enjoyed working with children. In addition to her passion for pediatric occupational therapy, she also teaches classical ballet to children and has had the opportunity to teach dance to children who have disabilities at the Mackay Centre School. During her free time Tanya enjoys taking dance lessons, playing soccer, and spending time with her family and friends.
Tanya believes there is so much that we can learn from children and is passionate about working with our ‘kiddos’ and their families to achieve their goals!
