Our Yoga Club offers a dynamic and nurturing environment where children aged 7-12 can explore the benefits of yoga through a therapeutic lens. This 6-week program, guided by a certified Occupational Therapist, is designed to help children build physical strength, enhance motor skills, and develop emotional resilience. Yoga is much more than just poses—it’s about fostering self-awareness, learning to manage emotions, and gaining confidence in a fun and supportive setting.
Each week, your child will learn and practice various yoga poses, carefully selected to enhance body awareness, coordination, and balance, all in a sensory friendly environment. Poses such as the Tree Pose and Warrior Pose encourage strength and stability, while more dynamic sequences help improve flexibility and fluidity in movement. The program also emphasizes mindfulness and breathing techniques, which can help children regulate their emotions, reduce anxiety, and improve focus in both school and everyday life.
In addition to physical benefits, the Yoga Club integrates activities that promote sensory processing and emotional regulation, offering children strategies they can use beyond the yoga mat.
