Ana-Marcia Zuniga
Occupational Therapist
Ana-Marcia Zuniga completed her Master of Science in Applied Occupational Therapy at McGill University in 2017. She developed a passion for working with children as she gained experience as a volunteer at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), and through her placements at the MAB-Mackay Rehabilitation Center and the Shriner's Hospital for Children. After graduating, she began her career as a pediatric occupational therapist while at Le Centre Professionnel Évolution and Le Parapluie Bleu; using the strengths and interests of the the children she works with to help them reach their full potential, and to enable them to be as functional as possible when doing their everyday activities. Specifically, she has experience working with children who have difficulties with sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, motor planning, and feeding. Ana-Marcia is excited to join the dynamic team at Kiddo Active and to continue to learn and grow within her field.
In her spare time, Ana-Marcia enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, reading, meditating, playing the flute and ukelele, and participating in zumba, yoga, pilates and barre classes."
