Exciting News from Kiddo Active Therapy: Introducing Handwriting Club!
We're thrilled to announce the upcoming session of our Handwriting Club at Kiddo Active Therapy! If your child is experiencing challenges with tracing or copying basic pre-writing shapes, expressing fatigue or discomfort during writing, grappling with pencil grip, encountering difficulties in writing letters fluently and clearly, or struggling with staying within the lines, our Handwriting Club could be the perfect solution.
We've tailored the club content for two different age groups, ensuring it meets the developmental needs of each child.
Our Handwriting Club employs creative multisensory activities and structured teaching techniques, drawing inspiration from the Handwriting Without Tears program. These approaches are designed to empower children with the foundational skills essential for successful handwriting development.
Led by an experienced occupational therapists, each session will kick off with a comprehensive gross motor and fine motor warm-up. The activities that follow will include guided writing exercises, culminating in a 10-15 minute discussion with parents/caregivers for effective lesson carryover into home and school environments.

Receipts will be provided for insurance and income tax purposes
Registration:
Registration will be accepted by email, mail or in person. To reserve your spot 50% of the payment is required with the remaining 50% 30 days prior to program start date.
Receipts will be provided at the last session.

- Kindergarteners:
- Struggling with holding a writing tool.
- Facing challenges in copying basic shapes (e.g., lines, circles, crosses, squares).
- Difficulty recognizing letters and numbers.
- Struggling to maintain a good seated posture.
- Grade 1 or 2 Students:
- Facing difficulties in letter/number formation and placement.
- Struggling with word and sentence structure.
- Challenges in page organization and pencil use.
- Difficulty maintaining posture and keeping up with writing demands in the classroom.
- Each class will have a limited size, with 4-5 children per Occupational Therapists, ensuring personalized attention and effective support for every child.

Policy:
Kiddo Active Therapy cancellation policy for groups:
- In the case of cancellation prior to the registration deadline of 30 days prior to your chosen program, a full refund will be granted.
- In the case of cancellation past the registration deadline, a refund of 50% of the fees will be granted.
- In the case of cancellation after the first session, no refund will be granted, unless the therapists determine that the group is not the right fit for the child.
