Kiddo Active’s Ready for School Club
Get ready for school with Kiddo Active!
Kiddo Active Therapy is thrilled to announce their 2nd edition of our Ready for School Club to help children improve their fine motor and organizational skills in preparation for their upcoming school year. If your child has difficulty with coloring, drawing, tracing, copying shapes and cutting, as well as managing zippers and buttons or holding their utensils, this group may be a great fit for them. Our multi-themed program will take us on adventures to develop movement, coordination, and fine motor skills through crafts, science projects, games, and even cooking!
Through play and positive peer interactions, children will also explore other ready-for-school skills, such as following a routine, engaging in a group, or keeping their belongings in order. Lead by an occupational therapists and speech therapist, this program has been designed using a fun, creative, and multisensory approach to help children strengthen their prerequisite fine motor skills as they enter the new school year.

Ratio:Class size between 3-5 children: 1 Speech Therapist
Schedule: Pointe-Claire
Group 1:
Session 1: Tuesday Aug 3rd 8:30am-10:00am
Session 2: Thursday August 5th 8:30am-10:00am
Session 3: Tuesday August 10th 8:30am-10:00am
Session 4: Thursday August 12th 8:30am-10:00am
Session 5: Tuesday August 17th 8:30am-10:00am
Location: All sessions will take place at Kiddo Active Pointe-Claire: 223 boul, Saint-Jean, Pointe Claire
Cost: Pointe-Claire
Receipts will be provided for insurance and income tax purposes.
Registration
Registration will be accepted by email, mail or in person. To reserve your spot 50% of the payment is required with the remaining 50% 30 days prior to program start date. Receipts will be provided at the last session.
Checks can be made out to Kiddo Active Therapy. Credit card and debit payments can be made at the clinic or by phone.

Policy:
Kiddo Active Therapy cancellation policy for groups:
- In the case of cancellation prior to the registration deadline of 30 days prior to your chosen program, a full refund will be granted.
- In the case of cancellation past the registration deadline, a refund of 50% of the fees will be granted.
- In the case of cancellation after the first session, no refund will be granted, unless the therapists determine that the group is not the right fit for the child.
